Ayon Wen-Waldron is a multi-lingual bicultural marketing and brand strategy expert with over 20 years leading strategic planning and account management for clients from various industries, ranging from consumer packaged goods (Procter & Gamble, Nestle, General Mills) to financial (Western Union, IBC Bank), auto rental (Enterprise, Alamo, National), insurance services (Nationwide), and causal marketing (truth – American Legacy Foundation).
Prior to joining ArchPoint’s Consulting division, Ayon served as Executive Director, Branding & Marketing Strategy for ArchPoint Group, where she developed and facilitated brand positioning, built marketing plans/strategies, and led primary consumer research for ArchPoint’s clients, such as Real Pet Foods (second largest pet food company in Australia and entering the U.S. market), Tres Latin Foods, Thor Industries, and Babbel.com.
As a consultant, Ayon has been contracted by several global companies such as Sanoffi-Aventis, Glazier Wine & Spirits, Grace-Kennedy Group, and more recently as a focus group moderator in Spanish and Portuguese for PSB on the Integrated Communication Campaign for the U.S. Census Bureau.
In addition, she is an Adjunct Professor at Trinity University, teaching an upper-class course in marketing. She has a B.S. in Finance and Management from Trinity University, with minor concentrations in Spanish and French. She currently lives in San Antonio.
